Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme Eligibility Criteria

- Students must be a resident and a native of Andhra Pradesh and must not have any four-wheeler vehicle in their family.
- The family income should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh per annum.
- Students who are pursuing their program/course in government-aided private colleges board and day scholar students and hostellers are eligible for this scheme but the college should be affiliated with state universities/boards.
- If the students are studying at Deemed University then they are not eligible for the scheme.
- Students who are studying their degree courses through distance education are not eligible for this scheme.
- If any student has taken admitted under the management quota in his/her college then he/she will not be eligible for the scheme.
- If any member of the student’s family is working in the government sector and paying taxes or any person getting the benefit of a pension then in such cases the student is not eligible for Jagannath Vidya Deevena Yojana 2023.
- Ward of a Safai Karamcharis, irrespective of their salary and type of recruitment, are eligible for this scheme.
- The Social Welfare Department will develop a system of certification for Safai Karamcharis to claim the benefits of the scheme.
- Those who have ten acres of wetland and 25 acres of dry land are also eligible for the scheme.
- If anyone in the student’s family is paying property tax then he/she is also not eligible for this scheme.
- The student’s house should be less than 1500 sq ft in the city and will be eligible for the scheme.
