DVA Card Benefits
The benefits you get from the Veteran Card will depend on the color of your card. Find out what entitlements you may have:

Who Is Eligible For DVA Card 2023?: You may be eligible for a white card for injuries or conditions related to your service if you:
- A current or former Australian Defense Force (ADF) member, including reservists and cadets, with a service-related injury or situation admitted by us; Or
- A Commonwealth or allied veteran with a service-related injury or condition accepted by your country of service
Who Is Eligible For DVA Card 2023?: You may be eligible for a White Card to cover treatment for any mental health condition if you:
- You should Have at least one day of continuous full-time service (CFTS) with the ADF; Or
- You Are a reservist and have completed disaster relief service, border security service, or serious service-related training involved in the accident.

Who Is Eligible For DVA Card 2023?: The rightful entitlement to a Gold Card in Australia is that of the following:
- Is 70 years of age or older and has qualifying service
former prisoner of war - Served in Japan between 16 August 1945 and 30 January 1946
- Served as part of the British Commonwealth Occupation Force between 31 January 1946 and 28 April 1952; Or
- Participated in the British nuclear test program in Australia
Who Is Eligible For DVA Card?
Who Is Eligible For DVA Card 2023?: To be eligible for DVA Card, You must be falling in the following criteria.
- If you Have a current DVA White, Gold, or Orange card as a veteran
- If You Are a Dependent of a Veteran and have your own DVA Gold Card
- If You Are a current or former member of the Australian Defense Force (ADF), including reservists, with at least one day of continuous full-time service (CFTS).
- If you are a reserve who can access free mental health care
- If you Are a reservist with an approved service-related injury or condition.
How to Apply for DVA White Card?
Who Is Eligible For DVA Card 2023?: If you’re eligible, then you will automatically receive your White Card. It will be delivered when:
- You are discharged from the Australian Defense Force (ADF) if you have at least 1 day of continuous full-time service (CFTS); Or
- Acknowledge your service-related injury or condition.
