Niramaya Health Insurance Scheme
The scheme envisages providing comprehensive cover
- Keep the same premium across age limits
- Provide equal coverage irrespective of the type of disability covered under the National Trust Act
- Insurance on reimbursement basis only Rs. Covers up to 1.0 Lakh.
- All persons with disabilities under the National Trust Act shall be accompanied by a valid disability certificate

Niramaya Health Card Claim Process
- Download the claim form from the website.
- Fill in all the details and attach the required bills with it.
- Send it to the Third Party Authority (TPA) for approval.
- Submit the form within 30 days of treatment or discharge from the hospital.
Niramaya Health Card Renewal Online
- Guardians of PWD have to visit the nearest Enrollment Institution for Niramaya Renewal along with the major required documents.
- RO will check the validity of the documents.
- They will select the renewal form download on the Niramaya website.
- Beneficiaries are required to pay the renewal fee at this point, which is Rs 50 for SC and Rs 50 for BPL. 250 for non-BPL. That said, there is no fee involved in the renewal process for PWDs with legal guardians.
- After successful payment, the policy will be renewed for 1 more year.
